Gil Yaniv is a tour guide extraordinaire, with many years of experience. Gil was born in Israel, Tel Aviv.
He received his junior education in a Kibbutz, and then went onto military service, where he was highly stationed as an officer in the combat brigade “Golani” (the most elite combat brigade in the Israeli army).
After he retired from military service, he became the Managing Officer of a very large military headquarter, from 1974 to 1995.
Gil studied and graduated from the University of Haifa in History, Religious studies and Archeology.
His knowledge on Israel is highly sophisticated, and his comprehension is a cut above the rest.
His understanding, experience and learned ability on the history of Israel and the religions it encompasses, is far more superior and diverse than any other tour guide you may find.
Not only will you walk away with a coherent understanding of Israel, but also a feeling of fulfillment, enjoyment and contentment; he also has a personality to match.
Well we made it back to the US and were of course very happy to get home. It doesn’t matter where one goes, its always nice to come home. Gil, just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time in Israel thanks to you. You made our tour very enjoyable, educational and very inspirational. You made us feel very comfortable and safe and were always there when you said you would be there. You have a great feeling for your country and it certainly came through during our tour. Your knowledge of Israel is admirable and we learnt so much about your country from the way you explained everything to us. Once again, thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you when you come to Los Angeles.
Best wishes, Sandra, Hugh and Drew Gordon.
Gil, we also wanted to share our appreciation with you. We all so enjoyed our time in your beautiful country. You were superb in your knowledge of cultural and religious history, oratory flair, sheparding skills and gift of patience galore. Never a wasted moment for us and we thank you so very very much for such a positive experience.
L’Shanah Tovah to you and your family,
I am writing just to thank you again for an amazing trip. Your consideration and cooperation for Bonnie was greatly appreciated and made it possible for us to see everything we wanted to.
We had a good journey back to San Francisco. I wanted to thank you again for taking such good care of my family and I during our visit. I’ll definitely be in touch in the future.
Sorry that last email didn’t go through. This is Josh Levin and I just wanted to send you a quick email and thank you once again for being such a good guide for my father and I on our first trip to Israel. In the end I think we both felt that you ended up becoming like a travel companion more than a guide. You made our trip so much better and more enjoyable with your knowledge and mere presence. Thanks once again and try to keep in touch. Hopefully one day soon I will be back in Israel once again.
